What is check in/out time?

Check in is at 3:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am. If you need to check in early or check out late, we will try to accommodate you.

If you need to check in early or check out late, we will try to accommodate you. Please check with the office. Our Inn can be very busy and we need time to prepare rooms for our next guests. We will try and accommodate you but depending on the scheduling, there may be a fee.
Do you charge a deposit when making a reservation?
We Do not...
We charge a $1.00 deposit upon making your reservation and then we charge your credit card on file for the total amount of your reservation within the 72-hour window of your arrival date.
Do you accept cash/checks or gift cards?
We accept all major credit cards.
We accept gift certificates but do not take cash payments or personal checks. We do accept all major credit cards.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 72-hour cancellation policy.
Do you make exceptions for the ⅔ night minimums?
Perhaps...
We can add you to a wait-list and as the date gets closer we may be able to make special allowances.
Do you have handicapped/wheelchair accessible rooms and bathrooms?
We do have ADA accessible accommodations.
You may want to call us directly and let us know what your specific needs are so we can accommodate you. We want to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible.
Do you allow pets?
Yes... we love our furry companions.
Yes! We do have specific pet-friendly rooms with a $35.00- $50.00 charge depending on the animal and specific room.
Do you offer breakfast?
No we do not...
There are several wonderful breakfast restaurants and bakeries close by and some are within walking distance. All of our accommodations have coffee/tea makers. Some have toasters, microwaves and stoves...where you can enjoy a meal in your room. Want more information? Check out 'Local Culture'. There are several local eateries you may want to experience!
Do you have laundry facilities for guests on the property?
We do not. We do have safe, clean laundry mats nearby though.
Do you allow smoking at Sierra Mountain Inn?
No. Sierra Mountain Inn is a non-smoking property.
How close is the Inn to downtown Grass Valley?
Close...but Wear good walking shoes
We are about a 3-5 minute walk from downtown. If you drive, be sure to check out where public parking is ahead of time. Check out Transportation.
Where can you park in Grass Valley?
On the street parking and in the municipal lots
That's the simple answer. Most parking spaces are limited to 2-3 hours. For more information, check out Transportation to locate the public lots.
Do you have a charging station for electric vehicles?
We Don't ..but there are several close by.

Do you have a conference room?
We do not have a separate meeting area.
You may want to consider a room with a separate sitting area for small gatherings or we may be able to recommend local meeting rooms in our area. Depending on the weather, we do have an outdoor seating area that might accommodate your gathering's needs.
Do you have a pool/gym?
No, we do not.
Grass Valley does have a lovely year-round public swimming pool nearby at Memorial Park, 350 Race Street. There is a fee to use the facility. Check their website for hours and more information. There are also several fitness centers within a 5-mile area of the Inn.
Do you have rooms with jacuzzi tubs?
No, but we have some rooms with regular bath tubs.
Do you offer roll-aways?
We do. It is available upon request for a $40.00 charge and must be reserved in advance.
